NORTH SHORE PRODUCE: Located 1 mile west of the St. Joseph Island Turnoff on HWY 17, this family run farm has grown steadily over the many years its been open to the public. Mr. Silas Bowman offers his customers the opportunity to have all the benefits of a home garden without any of the work!. Open from Mid June until Thanksgiving, Monday Wednesday Friday 9 am until 6 pm and Saturday 9 am until 4 pm.
A family farm owned and operated by Silas Bowman the land produces top quality vegetables such as tomatoes, lettuce, onions, potatoes, radishes, broccoli along with multiple varieties of late season squash that only scratch the surface of whats available at the produce stand over the growing season. With the north shore sun beaming down on the farm the quality of the produce is top notch! Fresh farm eggs along with jams and pickled products and hand made items for the home are all available at North Shore Produce.
Also this year folks can shop for their annuals and perennials in the newly created Greenhouse. The Greenhouse has a huge variety of flowers to choose from along with hanging basket arrangements looking for a good home. Both the Greenhouse and the main produce stand located at the front of the property only take cash so come prepared and support local business!
